This Privacy Policy explains how Guided Elevator (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you:

visit www.guidedelevator.com (and related Guided Elevator sites), or
connect or use our QuickBooks Online integration / MCP tools (the “App”).

1. Website visitors (marketing site)

When you voluntarily submit a contact or service request form, we may collect:

Name, email, phone, mailing address, and message details you provide

We use that information to respond to your inquiry and provide related customer service. We do not sell your information.

Our marketing site may use minimal essential cookies for basic functionality (for example, form submission).

2. QuickBooks Online App

If you connect a QuickBooks Online company to the App (including for Guided Elevator's own books, or a future paid customer connection), we may access QuickBooks data you authorize through Intuit's OAuth connection. Depending on permissions granted, this can include company profile, customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments, accounts, and related accounting records.

We use QuickBooks data only to:

operate accounting / AP / ops workflows you enable
display or process records inside the App and authorized internal tools
maintain security, troubleshooting, and audit logs

We do not sell QuickBooks data. We do not use QuickBooks customer data for unrelated marketing.

Tenant isolation

Each connected QuickBooks company is treated as a separate tenant. Data from one connected company is not shared with another. Guided Elevator's own QuickBooks data is not available to outside App users.

Tokens and credentials

OAuth tokens and API credentials are stored securely and used only to provide the App. You can disconnect the App from QuickBooks Online to revoke access.

3. Sharing

We may share information with:

service providers who help us host or run the App (under confidentiality obligations)
Intuit / QuickBooks as needed to operate the connection
authorities if required by law

We do not sell personal information.

4. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. Disconnecting QuickBooks stops new access; residual logs/backups may remain for a limited period.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. California privacy (CCPA/CPRA) & CalOPPA

California residents may have rights to know, delete, or correct certain personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as defined by law. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We do not track users for behavioral advertising.

7. Children

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Breach notice

If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify affected parties as required by law and, where applicable, within a commercially reasonable time.

9. Email

If we email you about an inquiry or account matter, we use accurate sender information and include our business contact details. Reply STOP or email us to opt out of non-essential messages where applicable.

10. Changes
